Executive Summary

Kate is a Partner leading Leathwaite’s Law Firm practice, Due Diligence business and Corporate Governance function. She acts for private practice law firms, big 4 accountancy firms and wider consultancies supporting Professional Services clients with partner-level executive search, senior functional mandates and due diligence both in the UK and also internationally.

In addition, Kate focuses on General Counsel and Company Secretary searches. She works closely with publicly quoted, private and private-equity backed clients across a wide range of sectors. Her client base includes a number of UK Plcs and global corporates.

Kate joined Leathwaite in 2016 from a legal boutique firm, Hedley May, where she spent seven years specialising in legal, compliance and company secretary mandates. She has extensive experience in all the major European economies, the US and across the Asia Pacific region. She began her career at Whitehead Mann in both London and Hong Kong in the legal, governance and risk practice.


Kate graduated from the University of York with a BA (Hons) in Politics & Sociology.
