Marcus Beale

Marcus is a Partner in Leathwaite’s London office, leading the Financial Officers practice across EMEA and specialises in placing Chief Financial Officers and Chief Internal Auditors.
After graduating in law/finance and training as a chartered accountant with KPMG, Marcus worked in M&A/Corporate Finance before moving into Search and CFO appointments.
Over the last 30 years, Marcus has personally recruited some of the most senior finance professionals in the UK and overseas. Before joining Leathwaite, Marcus established and ran two global CFO practices focusing on Private Equity backed portfolio CFO appointments. Prior to this, Marcus spent 12 years as a Partner with a large global firm, working across listed and Private Equity markets, again solely focused on CFO.
Outside of work Marcus is a family man and keen adventurer and charity fundraiser. In 2020 he rowed solo across the North Atlantic, establishing a new world record; he has also completed numerous adventure races, ultramarathons and ironman triathlons. Since 2016 Marcus has worked as a mentor and coach to disadvantaged youths.
