Beyond the boardroom: harnessing the power of the ExCo

We surveyed c.450 global c-suite leaders to gauge their priorities, challenges, and concerns for the year ahead. By harnessing the collective power of the executive committee, organizations stand to make significant progress toward achieving their full potential.

Our 2024 survey reveals that executives believe companies are not achieving their full potential. Functional leaders across the Executive Committee (ExCo) identify both internal and external obstacles to unlocking this potential. Economic and geopolitical uncertainties unsurprisingly feature high on the list of concerns, but equally important are an organization’s readiness to absorb change, and leadership effectiveness. Many respondents also pinpoint insufficient technology integration and a lack of adaptability as key internal barriers, hindering the achievement of strategic objectives and the ability to capitalize on growth opportunities.
