Clemens von Guggenberg

Clemens von Guggenberg is Managing Director Germany and Head of Europe, and is responsible for building out the company’s German and European business. As a Partner in the Strategy & Transformation practice, he will also drive the firm’s expansion in the professional services sector.

With over 20 years in executive search and over 10 years in strategy and management consulting across Europe and the Americas, Clemens focuses on senior-level searches for clients in professional services, technology, telecoms as well as for portfolio companies cross-industry. He has placed numerous consulting partner, CEO, CFO, COO, corporate strategy and other CxO positions predominantly in DACH and EMEA. Within the team he specializes in professional services and portfolio companies.

Clemens joined Leathwaite from Integration Consulting, an international strategy and management consultancy, where he was Managing Director Germany and Co-leader of the Global Leadership & Organization practice. Previously, he led the IT & Professional Services practice in EMEA at Korn Ferry and Heidrick & Struggles. He started his career in consulting with Monitor Group in London and KPMG in Frankfurt, New York and Budapest.

Clemens has gained an expertise in food system transformation and food of the future. He has two grown up daughters. His passions include coaching as well as any kind of water sports, mountain biking and skiing. He is fluent in German, English and Italian.
