Active allies: Being an advocate for gender equality
On Tuesday 24th September Leathwaite will be hosting an allies lunch alongside Joy Burnford and the Encompass Equality team during National Inclusion Week. This exclusive event is designed for a select group of male and female senior business leaders who are dedicated to fostering gender-equal workplaces.
This lunch is for a small number of male and female senior business leaders who are passionate about creating gender equal businesses. We will explore the role of allies in driving gender equality, highlight findings from our latest research on how the push for parity is impacting men, and open the discussion to share what it is like to be an advocate for women and how we can encourage it in others. We’ll also be joined by Brian McNamara, Chief Executive Officer at Haleon and our allyship specialist, Robert Baker, who will share their own experiences and challenges in this space.
