Emily leads Leathwaite’s Chief Financial Officer & Audit and Legal, Risk & Compliance practices in Asia. She began her executive search and leadership consulting career over twenty years ago in London before relocating to Asia over fifteen years ago. She has worked with clients across multiple industries including financial services, retail, industrial, media and professional services, particularly in relation to their legal, compliance and finance leadership requirements regionally and globally. Emily is Leathwaite’s Global ESG Council Lead. She is an active member of the The Women’s Foundation having been a mentor on TWF’s Mentoring Program for Women Leaders in 2021. An authentic thought leader and DEI advocate she previously Chaired Leathwaite’s Inclusion Council.
Prior to joining Leathwaite, Emily spent fourteen years with Spencer Stuart both in London and Hong Kong where she was a member of the Greater China financial services and financial officer practices as well as leading the regional Legal and Compliance practice. She spent her early career with The Miles Partnership and Whitehead Mann.
