Leathwaite is a leading Executive Search and Human Capital Consultancy firm, with established offices in London, New York, Hong Kong and Zurich. Our company is constantly seeking individuals who wish to develop a career in Executive Search and who embody our internal values of Being Distinctive, Maintaining Humility and Competing Together.
Our company is expanding more rapidly than ever before and is always keen to have conversations with Graduates, Associates, Consultants, Directors and Partners to explore how we might work together. If you would like to discuss the current executive search and related career opportunities we have available, please speak to Vanessa Wintle-Thorpe, Head of Talent Acquisition.
What kinds of roles can you have at Leathwaite in executive search?
Graduate Associates/Associates – support our teams in placing executive search roles by attending client calls, conducting desk-based research to locate profiles, speaking to potential candidates and sources and compiling reports for our clients.
Senior Associates – continue with the delivery-focused remit of the Associates as mentioned above, but take a lead in interviewing, as well as presenting candidates and short-/long-lists to clients. They have greater overall responsibility for delivering searches and are typically specialised in one or more areas. In addition, they shadow our more senior staff to learn the ropes and mentor our Associates and Graduate Associates.
Consultants – carry out a blend of delivery and business development, specialised in a particular area. On the delivery side, Consultants will lead interviews, manage candidates and present profiles to clients, straddling the hands-on and the strategic aspects of ensuring assignments are completed. On the business development side, Consultants will work to a target, liaising with existing clients to bring new business into the firm, but in addition, networking with new potential clients.
Directors – have a focus on business development and a financial target to reach, albeit retaining involvement and oversight of assignment delivery, including leading interviews, client calls and managing candidates. They are specialised in one or more particular areas and have leadership responsibilities within their teams.
Partners – hold the responsibilities of a Director but have ownership of a particular speciality within the firm, leading the work in this space. A number of Partners at Leathwaite are home-grown, having grown up with the firm and honed their skills here.
The Leathwaite Community – inside and out
The Leathwaite Community (LWC) committee was created to sustain and develop a positive culture in the workplace, focusing on the three pillars of wellbeing, fundraising and volunteering. The LWC provides a great insight into what the team of Leathwaite get involved in outside of their day jobs.
The LWC is open to all employees to join who want to help shape our activities within and outside of the firm. Members have the opportunity to pursue projects that they are passionate about and lead fantastic team events, all whilst giving back and being involved in the continuous success of Leathwaite’s CSR initiative.Learn more about the LWC
