Jo specialises in working with HR leaders driving transformation and change in their organisations. Focussing on interim mandates, she works in close partnership with our HR Search team, leveraging her deep network, built up over 10 years working with global companies in the London market. Jo thrives on listening to clients’ needs and thought partnering, consulting on organisational design and culture change. Having previously led internal Talent at Leathwaite, Jo has a deep intuitive understanding of the challenges facing HR professionals, particularly in relation to strategic hiring, succession planning, restructuring, performance management, employee engagement, employer branding, L&D, CSR and DE&I. She has a particular passion for inclusion and diversity and champions positive culture, purpose and belonging.
Prior to joining Leathwaite, Jo was a Director at Angela Mortimer PLC, where she built and led a successful team with full responsibility for advising clients, candidate care, delivering revenue, developing new business, profitability, hiring, retention and managing the employee lifecycle.
She now lives with her husband, two children and cat in Herne Hill and can often be spotted in local playgrounds or cycling (responsibly!) over London Bridge.
Jo graduated from Cambridge University with a 1st in Experimental Psychology. She went on to complete her post-graduate certificate in education and began her career in teaching.
