Gavin leads Leathwaite’s Strategy and Transformation Practice in Asia. With over twenty years’ experience, Gavin works with a wide range of private equity, growth capital funds, local and multinational corporations, and professional services clients to support their regional and country leadership requirements. Within the team Gavin specializes on technology, digital and data.
Splitting his time between Greater China and Bangkok, Gavin has successfully delivered for clients across a range of complex search assignments and functional leadership roles in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and wider Southeast Asia with a focus in value creation, data/digital/AI/business transformation, go-to-market and performance improvement.
Prior joining Leathwaite, Gavin launched and led True’s Greater China business based in Shanghai where he specialised in leadership searches for consumer, technology, and software portfolio companies of leading global and Asia mid/large-cap PE/VCs. Before moving into executive search, Gavin was a core member of the Consumer and Technology practices at Kearney and Roland Berger. Gavin is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and conversational Thai.
