Members from Leathwaite’s APAC office transformed into Moonwalkers in the evening of Saturday the 2nd of December 2017. They spent just over 5 hours to complete an overnight 20km walk in the dark – supporting the global charity of Orbis International.

Why Orbis International?

Orbis is an international non-profit non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to saving sight worldwide. Its programs focus on the prevention of blindness and the treatment of blinding eye diseases in developing countries through hands-on training, public health education, advocacy and local partnerships.

Since 1982, Orbis capacity-building programs have enhanced the skills of 325,000 eye care personnel and provided medical and optical treatment to more than 23.3 million people in 92 countries.

Friends and family members of the APAC team also participated in this meaningful event. A team of 14 was formed and together raised over HKD 20000 for the charity.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who supported us and Orbis!
