  • Sue Revell is promoted to become Deputy Chair and General Counsel EMEA at BNY Mellon. She retains her previous role as General Counsel and Chief Controls Officer, EMEA.
  • Christof von Dryander joins Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton as Senior Counsel. He joins from Deutsche Bank where he was Global Co-General Counsel.
  • John Farry is promoted to Co-General Counsel, Corporate Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank. He was previously Global Head of Corporate Finance, Global Capital Markets and Global Transaction Banking Legal.
  • Anouk Gauthier joins Euroclear as Deputy General Counsel. She joins from LME Clear where she was Chief Legal and Compliance Officer.
  • Philip Hanssens joins Fidelity International as Chief Compliance Officer, Europe from GAM where he was Head of Compliance and Deputy General Counsel, UK.
  • Lesley Wan joins First Bank of Nigeria as General Counsel. She was previously at Lloyds Banking Group as Real Estate Counsel.
  • Rachel Wheeler joins GAM as Group General Counsel. She joins from Aviva Investors where she held the same role.
  • Philipp Jenni joins Gazprombank as General Counsel. He was previously with Saxon Bank as Head of Legal and Compliance.

  • Patrick Sexton is promoted to become Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at CBOE Global Markets. He was previously Deputy General Counsel.
  • Susan B. Zaunbrecher joins Fifth Third Bank as executive vice president and senior legal adviser, reporting to Chairman, President and CEO Greg D. Carmichael. Zaunbrecher has been hired with the intent of succeeding Jelena McWilliams as its chief legal officer and corporate secretary.
  • Ranesh Ramanathan joins Kirkland & Ellis as a corporate Partner in Boston. He was previously Deputy General Counsel at Bain Capital.
  • Eileen Simon is promoted to become General Counsel, Global Businesses for Mastercard. She was previously Chief Franchise Integrity Officer.
  • Stephen Gauster is promoted from interim General Counsel, to Executive Vice President and General Counsel for MetLife. He most recently served as Chief Counsel for General Corporate.
